Handstands are invigorating! Break down barriers in your handstand practice in this 4-week progressive series. Find your shoulder strength and mobility; your hips-over-shoulders alignment; your core strength and stability; and the importance of your hands in a variety of skills and drills to support your handstand practice.

Over four weeks we will explore:

  • ā€œLā€ pose at the wall (with variations)
  • Wall-facing handstand
  • Chest-facing-wall version
  • “Hollow body” drills
  • Hand and wrist strengthening
  • Handstand push-ups at the wall
  • Handstand kick-up variations at the wall
  • Props (including FeetUp Trainer) to support your handstand practice
  • Handstand preps in the middle of the room
  • Handstand to chaturanga

During the series, we will begin to move farther away from the wall to discover your center of gravity, balance, and FUN while being upside-down!
