30 minutes of Hatha Yoga and 30 Minutes of Yoga Nidra. In Hatha Yoga you will explore postures (asanas), breathing exercises and energy balance (pranayama). Instruction includes pose alignment, relaxation techniques, concentration, and meditation. Yoga Nidra is a guided meditation practice to induce the alpha brain state or deep daydream state. Yoga Nidra has been shown to reduce tension and anxiety and restore the physical, emotional and mental body.. The state of Nidra is often said to be equivalent to four times as much deep, restorative sleep.

A dynamic and challenging class designed for those who want to deepen their practice by exploring more advanced postures and methods of practice. Suited for those with a consistent yoga practice and free of serious injuries. Inversions, backbends and arm balances will be explored.
Vinyasa yoga sequences and core strengthening sets. Become more aware of how core strength supports a healthy spine, increases mobility and the feeling of being light. Sequences are designed for a deeper understanding of engaging the core; breathing deeper to support core strength and vitality; and gaining more abdomen and lower back strength and flexibility. Great for students new to yoga with some experience in the basic postures (asana) and yogic breathing and experienced students with a regular practice who are comfortable with sequenced sets and are interested in integrating various yoga techniques for a deeper experience. Modifications and intermediate variations are offered.
Yin Yoga explores postures of stillness for promoting growth, clearing energetic blockages, and enhancing circulation. Sequences will target connective tissue: specifically ligaments and tendons in the joints and spine. When lengthening these tissues and releasing energetic knots, we increase our range of motion. Muscles account for about 40% of the resistance against the body’s flexibility, while connective tissue accounts for about 50%. Students will receive one-on-one attention for modifications and prop positioning.
A strong core is vital for life and mobility as we age. Creative core sequences work to support a strong back and abdomen. Core sequences prepare students for ease in yoga poses like triangle, arm balances, and backbends.
