This vital, but often overlooked part of our body effects pregnancy, childbirth, sexuality, aging, digestion and elimination, core strength, posture, breath, and emotions – in other words, everything that impacts our quality of life and overall well-being. It’s time for some pelvic love, with special attention to the pelvic floor. And let us just say, it’s not all about Kegels.

Join Jane in this empowering workshop of discovery, exploration, and connection.

In this session you will experience:

  • Pranayama (breath) to sense how the respiratory process runs deep down to the pelvis and why that’s important.
  • Yoga asana for a greater understanding of the structure of the pelvis and to find more strength, stability, and support.
  • Gentle somatic and restorative practices to nurture the womb, pelvis and bones.
  • Use of props to nourish and hydrate the surrounding fascia and gain a deeper connection to the pelvis and our unique, feminine nature.
  • Community discussion and journal inquiry.

The studio will provide props including: bolsters, blankets, straps, blocks, tennis ball and 9” squishy ball. Please feel free to bring any of your own props.
