Membership Sales & Client Services Associate

About the position

Our Membership Sales and Client Services Associates are extroverted, interested in our clients and seek to match our classes, workshops and programs to the clients lifestyle goals. The successful associate greets clients, extends our services offerings, sells memberships and manages clients account details to assist the client in long-term participation in the Thrive Yoga community. Many of our clients have been with us for 15+ years. This position is ideal for a yoga enthusiast or candidate interested in boutique fitness for living a more healthy life. This part-time position can grow to full-time with additional hours in studio management, administration and as an assistant to the owner.

Front Desk Duties:

  • Greet members and new students and advise on which programs match their goals
  • Meet membership sales goals each shift and act as the on-site manager for all client inquiries
  • Opening and closing duties to prepare and maintain the studio
  • Special Projects as assigned

Skillsets:

  • A yoga enthusiast that practices yoga and fitness
  • Membership sales skills
  • Ease with computer programs and Apps
  • Confidence in solving customer service questions
  • Independent worker
  • High level of organization and attention to detail
  • Natural people skills

Applicants must have 2 years of Membership Sales, Retail, Fitness Studio, or customer service experience in one position, Must have 3 professional/personal references.

Job Type: Part Time for the following open shifts

  • Sunday: 7:30am-2:00pm
  • Monday: 5:15-9:00pm
  • Tuesday: 9:00-1;30pm
  • Wednesday: 9:00am-1:30pm
  • Friday: 5:30-7:30pm

Salary: $20.00 per hour

Teacher Auditions

We’re seeking experienced Yoga Professionals who specialize in a variety of Yoga and wellness modalities. 

Preferred skillsets and availability: 

  • 500 hour trained yoga teachers 
  • Available to work weekends and evenings 
  • Has specialties (Can teach workshops and events)

Thrive Yoga Work Trade Program

Thanks for your interest in Thrive Yoga’s Work Trade program! Work trade is a way to earn classes at Thrive Yoga in exchange for a commitment of your time. This program is for students who are passionate about yoga and interested in becoming more integrated into the Thrive Yoga community.

Work trade duties may include giving new guest studio tours, organizing props and folding blankets, watering plants, sweeping floors, restocking items, and assisting with studio check-in and transactions as needed, in addition to miscellaneous tasks as assigned.  You can expect to be occupied for the full duration of your shift each week.

To be eligible for this program, you must: 

  • Currently be (or recently have been) taking classes at Thrive Yoga. Most work trade applicants that we select have either done our first month introductory special or are former members of the studio. 
  • Commit to the position for at least 6 months
  • Be reliable, punctual, and bring a proactive energy to your work.
  • Willing to work either an evening shift or weekend shifts. Shift times are as follows
    • Evenings: from 5:30- 8:30pm 
    • Weekends shift from 7:30am to 1:30pm or from 4:00- 6:00pm 

In return, you will receive:

  • A yoga class for each hour of work trade that you have successfully completed
