Studio Guidelines

Pre-register online or via Thrive Yoga app. Check in with our Member Services team at the front desk upon your arrival.

Bring your yoga mat or rent one at the studio for $3.

Students can refill their water bottles using our water filtration station.  In order to reduce our carbon footprint, we do not sell water in plastic bottles.

Arrive 10 minutes before class.

Thrive offers two changing rooms for your convenience.

Remove your coats and shoes before entering the practice rooms.

Water bottles with caps and small personal belongings are permitted in the studios. Take all small personal items into the classroom with you.

Cellular phones must be silenced during class.

Mention any injuries or special conditions to your teacher at the beginning of class.

Class time is special.  Avoid leaving class early. If you must, do so quietly before the final resting pose without disturbing others.


Studio Policies

GENERAL  Payment is expected in full prior to class attendance. Thrive accepts cash and all major debit or credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and AMEX). Discounts cannot be added together; the higher of the discounts will be applied.

Thrive reserves the right to cancel or reschedule any class, workshop, or training at any time.  If a class is canceled, students will receive a full refund. In the case of studio closure due to weather or renovation no series, class pass, or membership shall be extended.

$49 SPECIAL The $49 New Student Introductory Special is only available during the first visit. No Exceptions. The $49 unlimited 2-months Yoga Basics class pass is only available during the first 3 weeks of the registered session.

AUTOPAY $123 a month with a debit/credit card; minimum enrollment 4 months. We cannot freeze or suspend a membership prior to the initial 4 month period. 

After 4 months: no extensions of monthly duration or account freezes in excess of 3 months. It is the responsibility of the student to cancel AutoPay; AutoPay will continue indefinitely until canceled. All cancellations must be submitted in writing 30 days prior to the cancellation date.  Submit your request to thrive@thriveyoga.com.

After 4 months, if you are injured or sick and cannot practice for more than 2 weeks, Thrive will allow the current month of AutoPay to expire and cancel the remaining AutoPay schedule. Student can re-enroll in AutoPay when healthy.  Please provide a doctor’s note prior to membership cancellation. Memberships are not applicable to aerial classes. If you cancel your AutoPay, you may re-enroll 3 months after cancellation.

CLASS PACKAGES AND FEATURE SERIES All series and packages are non-refundable and non-transferable. 10 and 20 class packages may be shared with a family member. No extensions on class package expiration dates. Remaining classes in an expired series can be rolled over with the purchase of a new series. 

If you cannot make it to a class for which you have pre-registered, please call or email us at least 30 minutes prior to the start of the class. Absent spaces will be considered a “Late Cancel” and will be charged the full rate.

Due to the limited number of spaces in our Feature Series classes (Prenatal, Yoga Basics, Postnatal), make-up classes are allowed only as available. We cannot guarantee a make-up spot without pre-registration. There are 10 days at the end of each series in which to complete leftover classes. If there are 3 or fewer classes remaining in a Feature Series, please pay the drop-in rate until the next session begins. If 4 or more weeks remain in the series, the fee may be prorated.

4-WEEK SERIES are non-refundable and non-transferable and payment is required in full at time of booking; spots will not be reserved without full payment. No make-ups are available for 4-week series classes. Drop-in passes are only available for select 4-week series, as notated in the class description, and must be used within one month of the date of purchase.

WORKSHOPS AND PRIVATE EVENTS Non-refundable payment is required in full at time of booking; spots will not be reserved without full payment. No refund or account credit for cancellation 48 hours or less prior to the workshop, party, or private event.

To cancel your registration, email thrive@thriveyoga.com or call the studio at 301-294-9642 up to 48 hours prior to the start of the workshop.  Account credit will be given for the full amount of registration. Some events have special cancellation policies. All training courses and continuing education workshops are non-refundable. Please check the workshop description or receipt for further details.

TRAININGS: All training courses and continuing education workshops are non-refundable. In the case you withdraw from a training and are on a payment plan, the remaining balance of your payment plan will be due upon request to withdrawal. Teacher Training Payment plans are non-refundable and non-transferable.

RETREATS: All retreat deposits and payments are non-refundable and non-transferable.

AERIAL YOGA All aerial yoga workshops are non-refundable and non-transferable. No refund or account credit at any time for any reason. Payment is required in full at time of registration. Spots will not be reserved without full payment. If you pre-register for an Aerial Yoga class using a membership or class series and cancel your registration less than 12 hours before the start of class, you will be charged a $20 drop-in rate to the credit card stored on file. Aerial classes can only be booked with class series or drop-in. Memberships are not applicable to aerial classes.

Sound Healing Class Policies: If you can’t make it to a class that you have pre-registered for, please cancel. your registration or notify us by phone or email at least 12 hours prior to the start of the class. Due to limited spaces and waitlist,  Absent spaces and cancellations will be considered a “Late Cancel” and you will be charged the full rate of the class ($20) to your card on file.
