Handstands are invigorating! Break down barriers in your handstand practice in this 4-week progressive series. Find your shoulder strength and mobility; your hips-over-shoulders alignment; your core strength and stability; and the importance of your hands in a variety of skills and drills to support your handstand practice.
Over four weeks we will explore:
- “L” pose at the wall (with variations)
- Wall-facing handstand
- Chest-facing-wall version
- “Hollow body” drills
- Hand and wrist strengthening
- Handstand push-ups at the wall
- Handstand kick-up variations at the wall
- Props (including FeetUp Trainer) to support your handstand practice
- Handstand preps in the middle of the room

During the series, we will begin to move farther away from the wall to discover your center of gravity, balance, and FUN while being upside-down!
