The reason you do yoga – feel vibrant and invincible!

Move through a series of postures and breathing techniques designed to support, strengthen, and increase flexibility in the muscles that support the spine. You will feel energized through crafty and original approaches to moving the body. Ideal for experienced students who seek a practice that is technically focused and physically challenging. Spine Alive practice will lead to mastery in the most advanced postures in yoga.  Modifications will be offered to students of all levels.

Yin Yoga

Yin Yoga

Yin Yoga explores postures of stillness for promoting growth, clearing energetic blockages, and enhancing circulation. Sequences will target connective tissue: specifically ligaments and tendons in the joints and spine. When lengthening these tissues and releasing energetic knots, we increase our range of motion. Muscles account for about 40% of the resistance against the body’s flexibility, while connective tissue accounts for about 50%. Students will receive one-on-one attention for modifications and prop positioning.
