Going upside-down is invigorating! Break down barriers and gain strength in your handstand and headstand practice! Find your shoulder strength and mobility; your hips-over-shoulders alignment; your core strength and stability to enjoy the benefits of these poses!
In this workshop, we practice:
- “L” pose at the wall (with variations)
- Wall-facing handstand
- “Hollow body” drills
- Hand and wrist strengthening
- Core activation for a graceful lift
- Handstand kick-up variations at the wall
- Props (including FeetUp Trainer) to support your inversion practice
- Headstand variations in the middle of the room
During the workshop, you will discover your center of gravity, balance, and FUN while being upside-down!
The workshop is open to all levels; we require that students be injury-free and open to going upside down.
