Design your Destiny
We gather together in Allyu (Community) to create new realities for ourselves and the world around us. This month we’ll explore the mythic tool of Sand Painting Ceremonies. Traditionally, sand paintings have been used to aid in transformation and are a way of aligning our Inner nature (subconscious, patterns, and beliefs) to Mother Nature (infinity, new realities, creativity).

How it works
A seeker would draw a circle in the sand, then use elements of nature (stones, flowers, leaves, sticks, etc) to make a visual representation of themselves and the issue they are seeking to resolve. Once it felt like the painting represented the issue at hand in its current state, the seeker would rearrange the items to match how they wanted the situation to be. The sand painting would organically shift with the forces of nature as wind, rain, and sun engaged the sandpainting. As nature cleared and rearranged the painting, so too would the seeker be energetically/physically cleared and guided to new insights.

Our Session
We’ll explore this ritual together in a meditative space. We’ll create our own sand paintings and use shamanic exercises to gain insight and clarity through this practice. To complete, we’ll create a water ceremony to cleanse our inner energetic field (chakras), journey, and invite in a sense of lightness and flow!

The Full Moon Shamanic Ritual will be guided by Ugonma Fontaine Shaman, Munayki Rites Giver, Reiki Master/Teacher, and ERYT-500.

During this workshop you will experience:

  • Shamanic energy medicine wisdom and insights
  • Clearing breathwork practice to prepare for sand painting
  • Sand Painting ritual and meditation
  • Water and flower Ceremony
  • Community sharing

Note: In this workshop, you’ll assemble your sandpainting and take it home with you
