Gathering Spaces

MAIN LODGE
The Main Lodge is our central point for living well – sunlight soaked guest rooms, panoramic yoga studio, private massage room, and lounge area.

“BIG RED” BARN
Our restored mid 19th-century Mennonite barn is the ideal gathering space. From morning yoga, evening ping-pong, and company events, “Big Red” is the perfect combination of hand-crafted beauty in an updated space.

HISTORIC LOG CABIN
The restored 1807 historic log cabin serves as our dining hall and breakfast area. The hand-hewn timber, the handcrafted community tables, the crackle of the old fireplace – this is a place to settle in for the evening.

YOGA PLATFORMS
Our yoga platforms rest at the base of Warrior Ridge, along Sweet Root Creek, and look out to Tussey Mountain. Enjoy a class led by River Mountain facilitators or do your own thing on these platforms nestled in Black Valley.

GREENHOUSE
Our latest addition at River Mountain — the greenhouse is a stunning space with natural light letting the outdoors in. Climate controlled and under shelter, the greenhouse is an inspiring space for yoga retreats, group dining, and winter weddings.

Testimonials from Past Retreaters

"I recently attended one of the local retreats, and it was extremely enriching and it helped me work through a lot of stuck energy in my system. I met a friendly group of like minded souls, and we experienced good vibrations all weekend long. The 4 day retreat was filled with meditation, breath work, sound bath, ice bath and of course, lots of yoga! I highly recommend going to one of the retreats or at least a class! Susan is extremely knowledgeable, and she fills the room with so much positive energy.

"I joined Thrive Yoga on a retreat this past weekend never having been to the studio before. It was an admitted risk, but one I will never regret. Susan is an amazing person and teacher. I enjoyed all of her yoga classes and the sound bath. Most importantly was the welcoming attitude of all her students. It is clear that she has developed a strong and loving community at her studio. I wish I lived closer so that I could be a part of this Thrive Family.

"This retreat was the best ever! Lots of laughter, sound bath, meditation, yoga, breathing exercises, relaxation, hiking, amazing food, making new friends. What more could you want? I’ll be there again next time
~ Cyd R."
"Recently I had the pleasure of doing a yoga retreat with Thrive and I couldn’t say enough great things about this wonderful studio and their amazing community. Yoga, pranayama, sound baths, and more all delivered in an accessible yet challenging way that leaves you feeling physically energized and spiritually lifted. Their community was clearly tight knit but welcomed my friend and I immediately making us feel like we had known them forever. Although I don’t live in the area I will be watching out for workshops and making special trips just to reconnect with them and myself. I highly recommend this studio. Thank you Thrive family.
